This page explains how information is handled when you visit dfwastmpros.com or ask DFW ASTM PROs about consulting, education, books or other publications.

Information you choose to send

Our forms collect the information shown on the form you use. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company, location, mailing address, course or publication preferences, and the message you provide. We use that information to respond to your request, discuss availability and next steps, and maintain the related correspondence.

Book, publication and preferred-session forms request information; submitting them does not complete a purchase or payment. Please do not put payment-card details or other sensitive information in a message field.

Inquiry delivery and records

Inquiries are processed by the website and delivered to our business email. Our hosting and email providers process information needed to operate those services. Book information requests also have a protected recovery copy stored outside the public website so we can recover the request if email delivery fails. The book form uses a temporary session cookie to show its receipt and help prevent duplicate submissions.

Inquiry correspondence and recovery records may remain in our business email and hosting systems. There is no automatic deletion period promised by these forms. To ask about a record, request a correction or request deletion, contact Drew using the details below; we will review your request, including any records that need to be retained for business or legal reasons.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our content. It records information such as pages viewed, referring sources, general device and browser information, approximate location, scrolling, engagement time and link interactions. We also measure visits and interactions with education and publication inquiry forms so we can understand which content helps readers take the next step.

Our custom inquiry and link events use page paths, course or form categories and event names. They do not include the names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses or messages entered in our forms. A request received by the website can be counted as an inquiry; this does not mean a purchase has occurred or an email has been delivered.

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits and sessions. Your browser sends information to Google when Analytics loads. Search performance

We use Google Search Console to review how this website appears in Google Search, including reported search queries, impressions and clicks. Search performance can be viewed alongside Analytics reports. These reports do not give us a named person's search history.

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Blocking Analytics may limit measurement; blocking session cookies can affect the book request receipt. Private browsing alone does not prevent a website or its service providers from receiving information.

Hosting, fonts and outside links

Our hosting service may record technical information such as IP address, request time, requested page and browser information for operation and security. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which requires a request from your browser to Google. Links to Infraspection Institute, social platforms and other outside websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.
