How we work
From the first question to a supported conclusion
A property decision starts with understanding the problem. DFW ASTM PROs brings site observations, thermographic measurements, and verification together to explain what the evidence supports and where further investigation is needed.
- 01 / CONTEXT
Understand the question
Clarify the decision you need to make. Review available records, site history, terrain, construction, access, and surroundings. Reconnaissance is the first phase of the investigation.
- 02 / CONDITIONS & DATA
Plan and observe
Define the investigation scope and select suitable methods. For thermography, assess weather, solar loading, surface conditions, and viewing geometry; correlate thermal images with visible observations.
- 03 / VERIFICATION
Test the interpretation
Consider alternative explanations for an apparent anomaly. Use field observations and appropriate verification methods within the agreed scope. Identify limitations and any additional testing needed.
- 04 / EVIDENCE
Report what is supported
Connect findings to the original question. Explain the supporting evidence, remaining uncertainty, and practical next steps so you can make an informed property decision.
What you receive
Deliverables are defined by the agreed scope. An investigation report can include:
- Documented observations and relevant visible or thermal images.
- Conditions and methods that affect interpretation.
- Verification results and an explanation of the findings.
- Limitations, unresolved questions, and recommended next steps.
